CERTIFICATE
OF MINISTRY PREPARATION CLASSES
We
are offering a Summer class during
Camp Meeting this year.
“Declaring
the Gospel of God” will be taught by Dr. Chic Shaver.
Class
times are: Monday through Friday, August 11-15, 2008
Canaan
Acres District Campground Chapel with Rev. Tracy Ogden Johnson as facilitator
and Dr. Chic Shaver as primary lecturer.
Classes
will be held on Monday, Aug. 11th, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 and Tuesday
through Friday, Aug. 12-15, from 9:00 to 12:00. Note:
Only students who are taking this course for credit towards ordination need to
arrive at 8:00 a.m. on Monday to receive special instructions and information.
Registrations
are due by the week of July 6th since advanced reading assignments will be
expected.
Our
Fall schedule has also been
announced. These classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
